  50. The F3-Format, F4-Ins/Del, F5-Stretch, F6-Shift, F7-Erase, and F8-Hold
  51. commands all operate using a highlighted rectangular area of the workspace.
  52. When using these commands you must highlight an area of the workspace. How
  53. to do this is discussed on the next page. The highlighted area has one
  54. corner anchored at the cursor position when you enter the command, so you
  55. must know the location of your cursor. This will become obvious when you
  56. use the commands.
  57.  
  58. The information line, the last line on the screen,
  59. provides information about the command being used.
  60.  
  61. If you enter one of these commands by mistake,
  62. press the F3 (Abandon) or escape (Esc)
  63. key to abandon the command without taking
  64. any action. The workspace is unchanged.
  65.  
  66. After highlighting an area, press the F2

  143. F5 Stretch justifies the figure within the highlighted
